Arrival in Nauru

Our arrival to the island of Nauru was uneventful and that
is what you want when flying. We are
always thankful at the end of a long trip for
all the safety that the Lord provides.

We were excited to be back at International Baptist Church
and to see Missionary Adam and Christie McGeorge.
Elijah, Titus and especially Gideon have grown
so much. We are thankful to them for their
faithfulness to the Lord.
We were excited to see some of the faithful
folk of the church and some new faces.
We look forward to serving here until January 2017.

Almost time to head home.

Our time in Fiji is drawing to a close.  Its hard to believe
that 5 months has nearly passed since our
arrival. We have met some sweet folk who
love the Lord. That is one thing about
this Standing In The Gap ministry you get to meet
some of God's amazing people but you also
have to leave them behind. We know that someday
we will get to spend eternity with some them. Since
our arrival in Fiji we have seen 6 souls saved.

Pastor Paul W. Daku (R) and Deacon  Bro. Eliki (L)
and men praying over Leo before Daku's
 left in October 2015.

The Hindi Festival of Lights gods the Hindus purchase in the stores.

We will be flying home on February 29 and spending about
a month and half before we fly out for the
island of Nauru where we will 'Stand In' for
missionaries Adam and Christie McGeorge. This
will be our second time we will be
'standing in' for the McGeorge's and look
forward to being with the people of International
Baptist Church of Nauru.

It's Almost Time!!!

Time is approaching very quickly, September 29, it will
be here before we know it. The Lord has opened the door
for us to have a young couple live
in our house while we are gone. That is a huge
blessing for us and we pray it will
also be a blessing to them.

We ask that you pray for us while we are in
Fiji and for the Daku's as they
will be traveling during their furlough time.
We are looking forward to our time
with the International Baptist Church of Fiji.

Most recent letter

Dear Pastor and Church,                                                                       June / July 2015
We had the blessed opportunity to go with a group of 15 from our church to the Navajo Reservation in Fruitland, New Mexico.  We had several novel experiences on this trip, for me it was the street preaching at a busy intersection; it was certainly outside of my normal preaching routine. We then moved to a shopping mall parking lot where Cathy had the opportunity to hand a John & Romans to a young lady that was coming over to see what was going on. Cathy realized that her accent indicated that she was not American and asked her where she was from. She told her the Netherlands that is where Cathy was born. The Lord brought this group with a broken down vehicle so she could receive a John & Romans. She told Cathy that she was searching and claimed to be an atheist but thought there might be a God. Cathy encouraged her to take the John & Romans and to read it when she had opportunity and to open her heart to what it said. If this story comes to mind please pray for her and her salvation. Small world isn't it.
.This week we are headed to Merriam, Kansas, then off to Billings, Montana followed by Salt Lake City, Utah. We will be back home in St. Joseph in time to work in our Vacation Bible School.  Part of August we will be going to Chattanooga, TN and then the GIBM meeting at our church in September.
In October, we leave for Fiji to Stand In The Gap for missionary Paul W. and Martha Daku. We are looking forward to watching over the ministry for the Daku’s while they take a much needed furlough.  Please pray for the financial needs we have for this Fiji trip.

Next Stop!!!

Next Stop for 'Standing In The Gap'

The LORD has once again opened the door
for us to 'stand in' for missionaries Paul W. and Martha Daku
in Laukota, Fiji.

We are excited about the opportunity to be a blessing
to the Daku's and the ministry there.

We do not have a lot of details yet but it looks
like we will be headed back to the
South Pacific in September.

We ask for your prayers as we all prepare for this
trip...there is much to do both families.
