Valley Avenue Baptist Church ~ Pastor Ben Moore

Sunday, August 4th we were with Pastor Ben Moore and
Valley Avenue Baptist Church in Falls City, Nebraska.
We gave a report of our time in Nauru and preached
the afternoon service.
We really enjoyed our time with this great church.

Pastor and Melissa singing the morning special. We love
to hear them sing!!!

Love the banner!!

Sharing with Valley Avenue BC what the Lord
did while we spent 11 months on the island
of Nauru for missionaries
Adam and Christie McGeorge.

A church with babies and teens is a growing church!!!

Thank you to Pastor Raymond Smith of Plains Baptist Church
in Lincoln, Nebraska and Pastor Tim Ruegg of Calvary
Baptist Church in Seward Nebraska. Our time on Sunday,
August 11 was a great time. When we visit your
churches it is like 'coming home'.

Travels ... Home Again

We have returned home after nearly 2 months on the road, it is great to sleep in our own bed. We traveled accident free and no breakdowns with the van, what a blessing. Tonight for the first time in two months we will be in our home church of Bible Baptist Temple in St. Joseph, Missouri.

We traveled 5,221 miles and  it took us to Mississippi, Tennessee, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Indiana, and Illinois. We saw family, friends, pastors and supporting churches.  In August we will be in Nebraska, Tennessee, and Texas.

We are praying for an open door to minister to a missionary and their family and church. We have definite plans to return to the Czech Republic in May 2014 but are asking the Lord for an open door in the meantime. If you know of a missionary that needs to return home for furlough and needs someone to 'stand in the gap' please contact us or our church/pastor.

~ HOME ~

Our 'family family' and some of
our church
family were there
to greet us upon our
arrival from Nauru.

What a surprise AND blessing.
Thank you Bible Baptist Temple for
being so supportive of
'Standing In The Gap'!!!!
We love you.

Time Marches On ~

Yes ~ time is marching on and it seems it marching faster and faster.

Today we pulled our suitcases out of the closet to make
room for the McGeorge's suitcases when they return on Monday.
It is hard to believe that our time in Nauru will be up in just a short time
and we will be home in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

We have been so blessed while being here in Nauru and we are
praising the Lord for the opportunity to serve HIM here.

We are looking forward to what God has in store for us next.

We covet your prayers not only for us but also for the McGeorge's
as they transition back to island life.

Look and see...

We have been praying for Pastor Adam and family as they will return
to Nauru ~ you guessed it ~ 29 days. The folk do not show a lot of
excitement but they always check to see how many days
it will be before the McGeorge's return to the island.

Look and see who our March Missionaries are ~
Independent Baptist Builders, John and Amy Foster.
During the month the church will be praying
for them and any needs they might have!!

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee."
Isaiah 26:3

Zach loves 'Teen Time', he is a faithful young man.
He rides the wagon every Sunday and helps people on and off the wagon.

Jameson the young man on the left took Leo Noddy bird hunting
Saturday night. They do it with long poles and nets.
You kill them by biting the heads and crushing the skull, NO Leo
did NOT do that but Jameson did.
Leo brought two of them home. Some of the feathers had been
removed, Leo removed the wings, head, and feet and they are ready to
eat. We have to figure out how to cook them and we will give it
a try.

This is B-Beak he is Washington's youngest son. He is patiently waiting
for the grownups to figure out how everyone will get home
after Sunday am service and we discovered a flat tire on the wagon.
Never fear everyone got home ~ thanks for your help Elizabeth.
