Good Morning

Wednesday was an eventful day...Jana came with her two little ones. We had lunch together and while the children had their nap Jana finished a sewing project and we chatted.  At 4:15 we left for town by way of the tram and of course it started to rain just as we stepped onto the tram but by the time we reached our stop the rain had let up.   Jana did a bit of shopping and then we walked by the river on our way to church. It was very pleasant.

One of the men picked up Leo at the apartment and they were at the church when we arrived. I took nursery duty and Jana agreed to come down if she heard a lot crying. It is an interesting thing to be in the nursery with children you cannot understand and they cannot understand you.  BUT children are children everywhere, they like to play!  I read a book to them and even though they could not understand they sat still and looked at the pictures. Jana never did have to come down and rescue me or the children.

One of the things that is different is that it does not get completely dark until 9:30 or later but it is light out, enough to read outside, at 4:15 to 4:30. It has thrown off our sleeping clock we go to bed later and wake up earlier.

Today is laundry day and everything has to go outdoors to dry so it is a slower process than it is at home but I really don't mind.  Lady, the dachsund, is laying at my feet waiting for us to take her out for a walk. Leo just finished mowing the grass and it smells wonderful.

The temperature is 67 degrees and a bit cloudy.

Have a wonderful day in the LORD...Proverbs 3:5-6
